FSEI

Fondation pour le support de l'éducation et l'innovation

MISSION

The Foundation for the Support of Innovation and Education (FSEI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting medical research, supporting education, and providing infrastructure for researchers.

Our Mission

The FSEI has been committed to fostering scientific and educational innovation by supporting initiatives that drive progress and societal impact. Our work is centered around three key areas:

  • Medical Research and Scientific Innovation
We support all forms of medical research conducted by universities, research institutes, and independent scientists. Special focus is given to the fields of molecular biology and cardiovascular medicine, primarily in Geneva, but also across Switzerland and internationally.
  • Education and Support for Disadvantaged Youth
We facilitate access to education, particularly for (pre)adolescents in precarious situations, by highlighting social and environmental challenges related to population growth and poverty.
  • Infrastructure for Research
We support projects that provide housing and workspaces for researchers and academics to foster collaboration, idea exchange, and the development of new scientific initiatives.

A Philanthropic Commitment

The FSEI is a purely charitable organization with no profit-driven objectives. We are dedicated to supporting researchers, educators, and changemakers working toward a fairer society and a more sustainable future.

FOUNDATION BOARD

The foundation board comprises four members. It is chaired by Mr Alexandre Semboglou, alongside Ms Julie de Haynin, Mr Ralph Stierli and Mr Kevin Solioz.
